Frederick Griscti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Maximino Cesario made a huge save. After 10 minutes, Kent Stuckens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La masia and the Gärsnäs BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, La masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Stuckens to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, La masia's Maximino Cesario got control of the ball when Frederick Griscti tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Friebe in the 13th minute of play forced La masia's goalkeeper Maximino Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when La masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Stuckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dane Friebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Cesario was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Dane Friebe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Maximino Cesario 19 minutes into the match. Wes Lieckens kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Lieckens in the 30th minute of the match. La masia's Sam Hartlang got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Wes Lieckens made a precise shot to the right of Wang Cheng. Gärsnäs BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the Gärsnäs BF defense, Wes Lieckens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wang Cheng. The Gärsnäs BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wang Cheng should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute of the match, Dane Friebe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximino Cesario saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederick Griscti to strike the kick off in the second half. Dane Friebe scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Cesario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Wang Cheng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Kent Stuckens kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Frederick Griscti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wes Lieckens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Wang Cheng skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th minute, Sam Hartlang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wang Cheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Lieckens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, La masia's Jan-Pieter Haelemans got a free kick in the 79th minute. Maximino Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dane Friebe in the 82nd minute of play. Kent Stuckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, George Hägglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Maximino Cesario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wes Lieckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes La masia got a freekick which was hit by Jerom Kint. The La masia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La masia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
