An unexpectedly hard shot by Eder Mangas in the 19th minute of play forced Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Serapio Baños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Drafi got a freekick which was hit by Akis Charalambidis. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Eder Mangas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Armal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eder Mangas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 minutes, Iakovos Kapetanos made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Real Armal F.C.'s Jacques Estruch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Real Armal F.C.'s Raúl Gasso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Paez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eder Mangas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacques Estruch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Jaszyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Waclaw Jaszyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacques Estruch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ntinos Ioannidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacques Estruch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Jaszyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacques Estruch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Waclaw Jaszyna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 73 minute of play. The supporters of Drafi booed when Real Armal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madaleno Lagunas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Drafi fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Drafi's Iakovos Kapetanos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Real Armal F.C.'s Serapio Baños got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jacques Estruch acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anestis Patsionidis.
