The audience thought a goal was coming when Clayton Sergi got free with Victor Paez in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes Drafi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adalberto Custódio who took care of the corner kick. 20 minutes into the match, Drafi's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Meirelles came free, but Victor Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Kriaris came free, but Tony Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Adalberto Custódio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Drafi's Victor Paez did a great save. Tony Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Kriaris in the 39th minute of play. Victor Paez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Campon in the 40th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Victor Paez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tony Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Karapitsios in the 46th minute of play. With a little luck, Drafi's Victor Paez got control of the ball when Clayton Sergi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 49th minute SE Palestra Itália were awarded a corner. Adalberto Custódio went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clayton Sergi to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Drafi getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Thomas Nikitaras hit a great ball. The supporters of SE Palestra Itália booed when Drafi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. The coaching staff of Drafi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kemal Türünk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Drafi! Victor Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acar Buğrahan in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Iakovos Kapetanos could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Tony Chaves however easily saved by the left post. 76 minutes into the game, SE Palestra Itália's Acar Buğrahan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Paez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Victor Paez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Campon went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Chatziantoniou Karapitsios got a free kick in the 82nd minute. SE Palestra Itália's Eriberto Scherer got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Drafi defense, Acar Buğrahan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Paez. The Drafi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Paez should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Iakovos Kapetanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Chaves was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
