Dane Friebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Waclaw Jaszyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Hägglund got free with Victor Paez in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Hägglund in the 19th minute of play forced Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chatziantoniou Karapitsios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wang Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Drafi's corner Kemal Türünk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wang Cheng quite easily take care of the ball. Chatziantoniou Karapitsios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dane Friebe hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute George Hägglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drafi's Victor Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Friebe in the 33rd minute of play. Victor Paez was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Dane Friebe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dane Friebe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Iakovos Kapetanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wang Cheng. Gärsnäs BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iakovos Kapetanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Drafi's Victor Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Hägglund in the 42nd minute of play. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Karapitsios in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iakovos Kapetanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Lang during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 57 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iakovos Kapetanos. In the 60th minute, Drafi's Babbis Kriaris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Drafi's Babbis Kriaris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wang Cheng. That made the score 2-4 after 63 minutes of play. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Gärsnäs BF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederick Griscti in the 76th minute of play forced Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drafi's Victor Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Hägglund in the 80th minute of play. The Drafi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
