Wang Cheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wang Cheng made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Clayton Sergi sent off a good shot on target. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Gärsnäs BF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Meirelles in the 17th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ingmar Östlund hit a great ball. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Meirelles in the 26th minute of the match. SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederick Griscti in the 30th minute of play. Edson Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Troizen Mamalis got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Flavinho Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Lang to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Bruno Campon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wang Cheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederick Griscti was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Konstantin Gorobchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Tord Lang from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Tony Chaves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Flavinho Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clayton Sergi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wang Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ingmar Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SE Palestra Itália made a substitution. Eriberto Scherer replaced Gugu Schmidt. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Ingmar Östlund got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Flavinho Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wang Cheng came out of the goal and Flavinho Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Meirelles in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clayton Sergi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SE Palestra Itália were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Gärsnäs BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adalberto Custódio took the corner. In the 81st minute, Clayton Sergi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wang Cheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the Gärsnäs BF defense, Acar Buğrahan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wang Cheng. The Gärsnäs BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wang Cheng should have stopped the shot. SE Palestra Itália's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
