Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bert Van Cleynenbreugel came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Kujawiak Włocławek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Van Cleynenbreugel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Carlini in the 13th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goalkeeper Olgierd Pieknik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grzegorz Piechna. Arrows Academy FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guy Hogg in the 25th minute. Guy Hogg made a great header on Arrows Academy FC's corner, it was just that Kujawiak Włocławek's Olgierd Pieknik managed to reach the ball for a save. Grzegorz Piechna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Olgierd Pieknik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 34 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bakker came free, but Olgierd Pieknik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Guy Hogg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrows Academy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Hogg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olgierd Pieknik made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Hugo Bakker sent off a good shot on target. Olgierd Pieknik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Piechna in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Grzegorz Piechna made the kick off in the second half. Pico Efunkoya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Ged Nightingale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olgierd Pieknik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bakker, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kujawiak Włocławek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Hogg was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrows Academy FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Arrows Academy FC's corner Guy Hogg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olgierd Pieknik quite easily take care of the ball. Olgierd Pieknik came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Piechna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Hugo Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrows Academy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Bakker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olgierd Pieknik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Hugo Bakker put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olgierd Pieknik. Ged Nightingale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Kaczmarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kujawiak Włocławek's zone, Hugo Bakker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Pieknik came out of the goal and Hugo Bakker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kujawiak Włocławek's goalkeeper Olgierd Pieknik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Jacek Kaczmarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes Arrows Academy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ksawery Galaska who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Victoriano Carlini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ged Nightingale quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Santiago Abastas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olgierd Pieknik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Olgierd Pieknik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Bakker in the 85th minute of play. Wen Jie Ting scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Pieknik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olgierd Pieknik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Piechna in the 94th minute of the match. The corner led Arrows Academy FC's Guy Hogg to fire away a dangerous shot which Olgierd Pieknik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Arrows Academy FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
