Tom Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Kazak SK's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Lopez came free, but Tom Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korhan Kargin made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilhelm Nordin immediately put the ball in play. Dennis Rechnitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Wikander in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Lunáticos got a corner. Kazak SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Dracena ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Wilhelm Nordin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dennis Rechnitzer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Wilian Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lunáticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Lopez couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Lopez in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Sandström saved Kazak SK from getting behind. Tom Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Lopez in the 29th minute of play. Murillo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Sandström having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Sandström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Sandström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 41st match minute, Lunáticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Filletti to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Nordin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Rechnitzer. Lunáticos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute Harseno Ekayana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Rechnitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunáticos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcus Dracena in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Kazak SK's Tom Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Lopez in the 52nd minute of play. Wilian Lopez scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Sandström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute Wilian Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Wilian Lopez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tom Sandström. The goal made the score 0-4. Lunáticos's Murilo Marinho was substituted for Válbson Queirós. After a rather tough play, Lunáticos's Murillo Paranaense got a free kick in the 65th minute. Wilian Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tom Sandström made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Kazak SK's goalkeeper Tom Sandström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Lopez. In the 77th minute, Murilo Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes Lunáticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Wilian Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tom Sandström made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lunáticos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
