The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Su Ting Han had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington de Lara. Tirense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Su Ting Han was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Ting Han in the 11th minute of play. Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Dante Pero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Colesterol FC's Nereo Liher. Nereo Liher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Su Ting Han ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nereo Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Pero in the 22nd minute of the match. When Tirense F.C.'s Dante Pero in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Colesterol FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Dante Pero put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nereo Liher. Fidel Joachim struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Washington de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Colesterol FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Su Ting Han in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Washington de Lara saved Tirense F.C. from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, El Colesterol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Pero came free, but Nereo Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Colesterol FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zekeriya Onursoy in the 37th minute. When Tirense F.C.'s Hacı Demirdelen in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Colesterol FC's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, El Colesterol FC's Su Ting Han sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes Tirense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zekeriya Onursoy who took care of the corner kick. Su Ting Han who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Washington de Lara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Tirense F.C. booed when El Colesterol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gio Lo Celso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Su Ting Han stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Washington de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Joachim in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Ting Han in the 54th minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Su Ting Han ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Binjamin Balckmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington de Lara having to interfere. El Colesterol FC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Tirense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zekeriya Onursoy took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vito Tasso got free with Nereo Liher in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Vito Tasso took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Nereo Liher to make any attempt to save it. Washington de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Ting Han, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes Tirense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zekeriya Onursoy who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zekeriya Onursoy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Washington de Lara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, El Colesterol FC's Nestor Laurentzi got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Nestor Laurentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Pero got free with Nereo Liher in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. El Colesterol FC's Nereo Liher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save El Colesterol FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Su Ting Han in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Washington de Lara saved Tirense F.C. from getting behind. André Maraschin might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Liher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Maraschin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute of the match, André Maraschin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nereo Liher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Tirense F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Tirense F.C.'s André Maraschin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
