Percival Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. But to his dismay, Kevin Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Chen Ao Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percival Prestes was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Prestes having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Skövde AIK's Percival Prestes threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chen Ao Fan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Percival Prestes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Chen Ao Fan in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Chen Ao Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Keegan came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Chen Ao Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 95th minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Skövde AIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than REAL VASCO RIO throughout the match.
