Velho Barreiro FC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Betelgeux FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lovis Wefers took the corner. The corner ended in Lovis Wefers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier did a great save. Ferid Eker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jorge Havier made a huge save. Aureliano Gora took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferid Eker got free with Jorge Havier in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Jorge Havier managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ferid Eker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velho Barreiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferid Eker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Havier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Betelgeux FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Kepa. The crowd rose to their feet as Velho Barreiro FC's Zico Galo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Havier. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferid Eker got free with Jorge Havier in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Gonza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Hidalgo having to make a save. Iker Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Gora in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferid Eker to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Silvio Luzaide tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Betelgeux FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Kepa to maneuver through the defense. When Velho Barreiro FC's Zico Galo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jorge Havier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Montenegro in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Michel Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Siqueira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Velho Barreiro FC's zone, Arsenio Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Hidalgo came out of the goal and Arsenio Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Aureliano Gora tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Arsenio Hustaz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Betelgeux FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Hustaz couldn't finish the play. Betelgeux FC made a substitution. Eleuterio Vito replaced Cornelio Olo. 80 minutes into the match, Betelgeux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Cosme came free, but Jorge Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lovis Wefers fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velho Barreiro FC's protests and gave Lovis Wefers a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Velho Barreiro FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lovis Wefers hit a great ball. Teobaldo Gonza's shot from long distance in the 95th minute was not bad at all, but Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. There was no doubt that Velho Barreiro FC were the better team. Velho Barreiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
