Ryszard Brak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Elpidio Beat made a huge save. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ryszard Brak sped through 25 de Abril Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Beat. Ryszard Brak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Elpidio Beat made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Karen FC's Edgar Wästerberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elpidio Beat. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Brak to make the kick off. Slawomir Turaks short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Ma Yong Jun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elpidio Beat came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg. But to his dismay, Arvin Svanberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Svanberg in the 60th minute of play forced 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalkeeper Elpidio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bai Yan Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Svanberg came free, but Elpidio Beat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slawomir Turak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ma Yong Jun came out and tried to block the shot, but Slawomir Turak slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 83rd minute. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Leon Fresco was substituted for Gavino Egoitz. Karen FC's Oskar Sandell was substituted for Edgar Wästerberg. 88 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Tello. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Karen FC from getting a goal against them.
