Thanks to some nice moves Slawomir Turak could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Muammer Taşcıoğlu however easily saved by the left post. In the 10th minute, Ilie Slătineanu made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Beat. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Slawomir Turak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Muammer Taşcıoğlu, 1-1. In the 17th minute, Ilie Slătineanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Beat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 20 minutes, Severiano Oliviero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 25 de Abril Futbol Club and the FC Nereta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Severiano Oliviero got a free kick in the 21st minute. Elpidio Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Slătineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute FC Nereta were awarded a corner. Felix Schuhmacher went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Nereta's Felix Schuhmacher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elpidio Beat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elpidio Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Slătineanu in the 33rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, FC Nereta's goalkeeper Muammer Taşcıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slawomir Turak. After the first half FC Nereta were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Elpidio Beat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to 25 de Abril Futbol Club getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gavino Egoitz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nereta's zone, Slawomir Turak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muammer Taşcıoğlu came out of the goal and Slawomir Turak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 de Abril Futbol Club made a substitution. Israel Reno replaced Leon Fresco. Gavino Egoitz's late challenge caught a FC Nereta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Egoitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, FC Nereta's Ilie Slătineanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elpidio Beat. Elpidio Beat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After a rather tough play, FC Nereta's Anatols Putenis got a free kick in the 91st minute. FC Nereta's Ilie Slătineanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Gavino Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded FC Nereta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 25 de Abril Futbol Club.
