Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niki Lauda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bengt-Åke Smitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Li Zhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Niki Lauda notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt. Bengt-Åke Smitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Târban in the 11th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Târban in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Linus Brovall got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bengt-Åke Smitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Remigio went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 17 minutes of play, RIVER's Eric Târban made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Åke Smitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt-Åke Smitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Oxarra in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Marcelino Raposo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Åke Smitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER's Wu Li Zhi. But to his dismay, Wu Li Zhi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Li Zhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Niki Lauda scored 0-6 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Åke Smitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Lauda in the 35th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Oxarra came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Niki Lauda notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt. Bengt-Åke Smitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Lauda in the 43rd minute of play. Eric Târban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eric Târban took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Åke Smitt. Bengt-Åke Smitt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The wind increased when Dan Hegg made the kick off in the second half. Karen FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Niki Lauda 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Lauda in the 57th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Târban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Smitt made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Lauda came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER's Eric Târban. But to his dismay, Eric Târban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. With a little luck, Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt got control of the ball when Eric Târban tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sven-Olof Dahlberg hit a great ball. Eric Târban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Târban slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 74th minute. RIVER's Niki Lauda was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. RIVER's Rosendo Osorio was substituted for Marco Rudolfo. In the 83rd minute of the match, Niki Lauda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bengt-Åke Smitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Lauda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Fidel Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over RIVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karen FC throughout the match.
