Jurand Sienkowski started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Bai Yan Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jurand Sienkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 6 minutes into the match, Callegari's Jurand Sienkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ma Yong Jun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute of the match Callegari got a corner. Karen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquin Isoba ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joaquin Isoba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ma Yong Jun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 10 minutes into the game, Jurand Sienkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ma Yong Jun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Jurand Sienkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Telmo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Svanberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Arvin Svanberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callegari's Telmo Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telmo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bai Yan Feng in the 18th minute of the match. Jurand Sienkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ma Yong Jun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurand Sienkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Åke Rolandsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Clóvis Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Brak in the 29th minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Telmo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvin Svanberg took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Almeida. Telmo Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Brak was the one to do the kick off. Jurand Sienkowski struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ma Yong Jun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Callegari. Callegari made a substitution. Daniël Orange replaced Clóvis Proença. Ryszard Brak came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Telmo Almeida could save by the left post. In the 67th minute, Gustaf Hedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Callegari made a substitution. Eduardo Guerrero replaced Jurand Sienkowski. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karen FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniël Orange was slow to take the kick. During this time Callegari's players had a chance to rest. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Callegari's Daniël Orange broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ryszard Brak succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 88th minute, Bai Yan Feng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eduardo Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callegari's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ma Yong Jun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Einar Carlsson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ma Yong Jun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3.
