With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niki Lauda in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Cesario saved La masia from getting behind. RIVER's Marcial Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Lieckens in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Eric Târban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wes Lieckens in the 90th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in La masia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the La masia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RIVER.
