Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karen FC's Ryszard Brak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Brak to maneuver through the defense. Wes Lieckens took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Lieckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ryszard Brak in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximino Cesario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ma Yong Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Lieckens in the 23rd minute of the match. Ryszard Brak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Cesario made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Bai Yan Feng sent off a good shot on target. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Lieckens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes La masia got a freekick which was hit by Youri Horemans. Maximino Cesario made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ryszard Brak sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Karen FC defense, Wes Lieckens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ma Yong Jun. The Karen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ma Yong Jun should have stopped the shot. Maximino Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Svanberg in the 38th minute of play. When Olgierd Wozniak came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the La masia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Wozniak couldn't finish the play. After the first half La masia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Olgierd Wozniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Wes Lieckens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Arvin Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Arvin Svanberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Cesario. La masia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvin Svanberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Cesario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The La masia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Cesario should have stopped the shot. Youri Horemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ma Yong Jun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bill Hofnagels fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La masia's protests and gave Bill Hofnagels a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La masia's Bill Hofnagels got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 81 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Sandell. Karen FC's Anders Törnqvist was substituted for Emil Lindmark. Maximino Cesario came out of the goal and Arvin Svanberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Wes Lieckens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olgierd Wozniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ma Yong Jun having to interfere.
