Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ilie Slătineanu started the match with the kick off. Wu Li Zhis short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Muammer Taşcıoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 8 minutes into the match, Ilie Slătineanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of RIVER's Marcial Lordi. Marcial Lordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Muammer Taşcıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Remigio got free with Muammer Taşcıoğlu in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niki Lauda had several of the FC Nereta's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Muammer Taşcıoğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. When RIVER's Niki Lauda in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Nereta's goalie prevented a goal. Wu Li Zhi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Muammer Taşcıoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wu Li Zhi in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Muammer Taşcıoğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the RIVER defense, Yan Yu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Lordi. The RIVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Lordi should have stopped the shot. Anatols Putenis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Li Zhi in the 30th minute of play forced FC Nereta's goalkeeper Muammer Taşcıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Slătineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pavel Tankovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RIVER's Fidel Gora was substituted for Bruno Oxarra. Marcelino Raposo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Marcial Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The wind increased when Niki Lauda made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Niki Lauda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Nereta booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Raposo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muammer Taşcıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Lauda in the 57th minute of play. Muammer Taşcıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Lauda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Anatols Putenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Târban took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muammer Taşcıoğlu. Muammer Taşcıoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, FC Nereta's Anatols Putenis got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Muammer Taşcıoğlu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER's Niki Lauda. But to his dismay, Niki Lauda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Wu Li Zhi fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Wu Li Zhi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Wu Li Zhi got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Wu Li Zhi hit a great ball. Marcial Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Slătineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The RIVER players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
