Telmo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Slătineanu in the 11th minute of play. Jurand Sienkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Jurand Sienkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muammer Taşcıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Jurand Sienkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callegari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Sienkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Callegari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eduardo Guerrero made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 74thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Muammer Taşcıoğlu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Nereta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniël Orange was slow to take the kick. During this time Callegari's players had a chance to rest. Callegari's Daniël Orange was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Muammer Taşcıoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Nereta's Muammer Taşcıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nereta from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eduardo Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callegari's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muammer Taşcıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Guerrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muammer Taşcıoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Guerrero ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Nereta's Muammer Taşcıoğlu got control of the ball when Eduardo Guerrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Anatols Putenis in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Callegari's Saulvedis Šūpelis. Muammer Taşcıoğlu came out of the goal and Eduardo Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Callegari booed when FC Nereta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball.
