Oséas Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hector Welch came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Kentucky Mustangs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Welch couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Vaughn Willingham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tyrone McCracken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Linares in the 31st minute of play. Curt Buddle took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Francisco Corrêa. João Francisco Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Senna got free with Tyrone McCracken in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the game, Hector Welch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kentucky Mustangs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ the free kick. 44 minutes into the match, Kentucky Mustangs's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Gonçalves came free, but Tyrone McCracken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyrone McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Curt Buddle made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Wilian da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tyrone McCracken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hector Welch hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Charles Linares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyrone McCracken skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute Dinei Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone McCracken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Dinei Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tyrone McCracken. Kentucky Mustangs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinei Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Curt Buddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Buddle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséas Veiga struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tyrone McCracken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™. Willis Lockhart hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tyrone McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Linares in the 85th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Linares in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyrone McCracken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curt Buddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Francisco Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Hector Welch sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Gonçalves in the 94th minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Tyrone McCracken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Welch hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
