Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Raining Blood's João Pedro Souza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Linus Brovall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Augusto Palmeira. Raining Blood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Karen FC's zone, Laércio Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal and Laércio Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro Souza got free with Bengt-Åke Smitt in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bengt-Åke Smitt made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Humberto Simão sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Hegg to maneuver through the defense. When Humberto Simão came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Raining Blood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Simão couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Raining Blood's João Pedro Souza. But to his dismay, João Pedro Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Dahlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Augusto Palmeira was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Dan Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Raining Blood's Henrique Miranda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pedro Souza. 37 minutes into the match, João Pedro Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Åke Smitt. Karen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The wind increased when Dan Hegg made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Simão in the 51st minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match Dan Hegg climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Carlos Augusto Palmeira. Henrique Miranda took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Åke Smitt. Bengt-Åke Smitt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 63rd minute Henrique Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Arósio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Raining Blood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victor Linares fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raining Blood's protests and gave Victor Linares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Raining Blood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When João Pedro Souza came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Raining Blood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Souza couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Souza in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Raining Blood's Luiz Fernando Arantes got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 81st match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. If Sven-Olof Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Björn Söderström.
