With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Fernanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauricio Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Mazierski in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, FC Pierońskie Hanysy's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Kelemen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Mazierski in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Fernanco saved RIVER from getting behind. Mauricio Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Bochinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Mauricio Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Klejnowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Zbyszko Mazierski made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Fernanco. RIVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Zbyszko Mazierskis short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Mauricio Fernanco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, FC Pierońskie Hanysy's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Eneas came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Maksymilian Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Mazierski in the 65th minute of the match. If Pascual Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbyszko Mazierski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauricio Fernanco. That made the score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Mazierski in the 82nd minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Mauricio Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RIVER's Mauricio Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Laba in the 90th minute of play. Mauricio Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maksymilian Bochinski in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Pierońskie Hanysy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RIVER.
