The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raining Blood's Carlos Augusto Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiph Inzaghi in the 3rd minute of play. Marcel Andrade made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luiz Fernando Arantes. When Filiph Inzaghi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the OldHighburyInvincibles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Inzaghi couldn't finish the play. Filiph Inzaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Augusto Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Aurelio Ferrante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Henrique Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Onana was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. André Onana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Souza's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, João Pedro Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for OldHighburyInvincibles. Edoardo Gabriele stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Augusto Palmeira. 1-0. André Onana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OldHighburyInvincibles's André Onana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Miranda in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Henrique Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Onana. OldHighburyInvincibles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Raining Blood fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Raining Blood's João Pedro Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Inzaghi in the 40th minute of play forced Raining Blood's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Raining Blood were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in OldHighburyInvincibles's zone, João Pedro Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Onana came out of the goal and João Pedro Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florian Paolucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute of the game Marcel Andrade made a throw-in which Luiz Guilherme Trancoso played forward. João Pedro Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to OldHighburyInvincibles getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Biagio Rosini hit a great ball. Henrique Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, João Pedro Souza notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of OldHighburyInvincibles's André Onana. André Onana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute Henrique Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Carlo Taraborrelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro Souza struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. André Onana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raining Blood. The OldHighburyInvincibles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Raining Blood's performance. The match ended with a win for Raining Blood.
