Sergio Vistruario came out of the goal and Chicão Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Oswaldo Breckenfeld took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sergio Vistruario to make any attempt to save it. Chicão Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Hegoi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 14 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goalkeeper Sergio Vistruario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Breckenfeld. Sergio Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Novaes in the 16th minute of the match. Ernesto Meira made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gelp 22's Arnoldo Salamon. With a little luck, Gelp 22's Sergio Vistruario got control of the ball when Oswaldo Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gelp 22 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Godofredo Jerrold hit a great ball. Oswaldo Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Sergio Vistruario made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswaldo Breckenfeld made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Chicão Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Vistruario was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 57 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Breckenfeld came free, but Sergio Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Dios came free, but Cícero Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Quintal in the 61st minute of play. Sergio Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Sergipano in the 62nd minute of the match. Callegari's João Carlos Simão was substituted for Durval Zonta. 72 minutes into the game, Ernesto Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Callegari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelp 22 the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Ernesto Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Callegari's Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Alessandro Cearense put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sergio Vistruario. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Cearense in the 82nd minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Sergio Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 84th minute of the match. João Vítor Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Vítor Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oswaldo Breckenfeld scored 8-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Vistruario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chicão Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Vistruario having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Callegari players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
