In the 22nd minute, Marco Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Bo Abbas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Wargön's Jan-Åke Ståhlman got control of the ball when Ciro Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Quintal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sivert Bollström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Kenneth Lange recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Quintal. Kenneth Lange showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Nestor Quintal was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Sivert Bollström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sivert Bollström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 77th minute, Bengt-Rune Törnkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Nestor Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Lange in the 81st minute of play.
