In the 2nd minute Chrisostomos Grimsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Vistruario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bon Guidetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Dios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gelp 22's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karen FC the free kick. Diego Armando Dios kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Bon Guidetti scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Vistruario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Folke Wennerqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Vistruario having to interfere. A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Chrisostomos Grimsø hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Diego Armando Dios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelp 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Armando Dios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Vistruario came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Gunnar Bure. But to his dismay, Gunnar Bure quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Karl-Michael Andersson took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Vistruario. Sergio Vistruario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Karl-Michael Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Vistruario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Bon Guidetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Vistruario. Gelp 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bon Guidetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Eustaquio Hegoi struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bengt-Åke Smitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gelp 22. Karl-Michael Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sergio Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Bon Guidetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Folke Wennerqvist got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Diego Armando Dios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Wennerqvist to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bon Guidetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bon Guidetti to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gelp 22 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arnaldo Mirande hit a great ball. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Armando Dios, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bon Guidetti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Vistruario came out and tried to block the shot, but Bon Guidetti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 55th minute. Bon Guidetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sergio Vistruario made a huge save. If Diego Armando Dios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bon Guidetti got free with Sergio Vistruario in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bon Guidetti in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sergio Vistruario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sergio Vistruario was a little too slow when Chrisostomos Grimsø got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-6.
