Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Florencio Lastur started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Marco Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Independente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Monteiro couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Pascual Laurentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteve Acosta came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Esteve Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Halcones's zone, Ciro Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Acosta came out of the goal and Ciro Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Lastur in the 25th minute. Florencio Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Acosta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Zé Carlos de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Acosta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Esteve Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Rodrigues in the 38th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Esteve Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independente FC's Ciro Ribeiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esteve Acosta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcelino Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Acosta was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Esteve Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Zé Carlos de Azevedo sped through Halcones's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteve Acosta. After the first half Independente FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos de Azevedo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Halcones's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos de Azevedo came free, but Esteve Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Monteiro in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Ciro Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Acosta. Halcones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 65th minute, Celestino Buinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Independente FC's Ciro Ribeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Esteve Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Acosta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Ribeiro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Halcones's Esteve Acosta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Halcones from getting a goal against them. Halcones's Esteve Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Halcones's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos de Azevedo came free, but Esteve Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Diego Martins fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independente FC's protests and gave Diego Martins a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Diego Martins got a free kick in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteve Acosta. That made the score 0-6 after 82 minutes of play. Independente FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
