The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Raining Blood:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wargön:s goal. Carlos Augusto Palmeira had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Wictor Pihlberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Raining Blood's Henrique Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Åke Ståhlman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wictor Pihlberg took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Palmeira. Carlos Augusto Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kenneth Lange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Wargön booed when Raining Blood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Raining Blood's Carlos Augusto Palmeira got control of the ball when Bengt-Rune Törnkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenneth Lange's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Carlos Augusto Palmeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Augusto Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Bollström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Björkdahl. In the 31st minute, Leonel Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Ståhlman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Wictor Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Pihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Augusto Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Pihlberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wargön's zone, Leonel Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Ståhlman came out of the goal and Leonel Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Leonel Coelho could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Jan-Åke Ståhlman however easily saved by the left post. Victor Linares hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Carlos Augusto Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Pihlberg in the 80th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Severo. In the 93rd minute Kenneth Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Raining Blood had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
