Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florencio Lastur started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Leon Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halcones and the RIVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leon Mambru took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Fernanco. Mauricio Fernanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Esteve Acosta made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Hernan Kelemen sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Halcones's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Txordon came free, but Esteve Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Mendebal in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Halcones booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Bidari didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcelino Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Eneas in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Hernan Kelemen made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Acosta. Halcones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 30th play minute Hernan Kelemen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Esteve Acosta. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Eneas got free with Esteve Acosta in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Francisco Macerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Acosta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

52 minutes into the game, Pascual Eneas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Esteve Acosta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Honorato Astigar got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Francisco Macerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Acosta was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Jonas Evangelista lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Halcones:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When RIVER's Hernan Kelemen in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Pascual Eneas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Acosta was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Mauricio Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Halcones booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Macerio in the 79th minute of the match. Pascual Eneas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Fernanco having to interfere. Celestino Buinton struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mauricio Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halcones. After having played for 91 minutes, Pascual Eneas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Eneas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Laurentzi's late challenge caught a RIVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Laurentzi helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Esteve Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Eneas in the 98th minute of play.
