After a rather tough play, Kentucky Mustangs's Tory Padgett got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Amos Arcangeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyrone McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Toni, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, OldHighburyInvincibles's Luka Toni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tyrone McCracken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 minutes Kentucky Mustangs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Rocco who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bernardo Rocco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kentucky Mustangs's Tyrone McCracken did a great save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Kentucky Mustangs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OldHighburyInvincibles:s goal. The referee gave OldHighburyInvincibles a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernardo Rocco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kentucky Mustangs's Tyrone McCracken. 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Luka Toni made a precise shot to the right of Tyrone McCracken. Kentucky Mustangs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 26th minute Luka Toni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone McCracken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Sergio Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Chung hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. OldHighburyInvincibles's Bernardo Rocco got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Kentucky Mustangs got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Chung. After a rather tough play, Kentucky Mustangs's Wyatt Giles got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Toni in the 36th minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Tyrone McCracken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Masetti hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Luka Toni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OldHighburyInvincibles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Toni got free with Tyrone McCracken in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luka Toni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrone McCracken was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luka Toni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. Tyrone McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Toni in the 63rd minute of the match. Tyrone McCracken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Toni in the 68th minute. OldHighburyInvincibles made a substitution. Florian Paolucci replaced Anfilogino Colasante. After having played for 86 minutes, Luka Toni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OldHighburyInvincibles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luka Toni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
