In the 25th minute, Peter Blomkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes in the game Bruno Iigo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ole-Gunnar Klose. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 30th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Nava. When Peter Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Blomkvist couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Blomkvist got free with Elar Quero in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dunamis's Nicanor Erramun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Samuel Nava in the 51 minute of the game. After 52 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Peter Blomkvist. Nicasio Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ole-Gunnar Klose's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Dunamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Iigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles was substituted for Peter Blomkvist. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Antonio Alzamendi was substituted for William Lebigot. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Dunamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Iigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Kosmas Banasopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play, Dunamis's Lucjan Sowa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad got control of the ball when Lucjan Sowa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dunamis's Elmas Loco was substituted for Ezequiel Fliz. Elmas Loco took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Abad. Nicasio Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dunamis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Alzamendi was slow to take the kick. During this time Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players had a chance to rest. In the 95th minute Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner. Antonio Alzamendi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Antonio Alzamendi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dunamis's Elar Quero did a great save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
