Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Lizzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Pablo Lizzio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomé Mota, 1-1. Oséas Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Quilo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Lizzio in the 52nd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Sidney da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Oier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Oier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Eztebe. Tomé Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Lizzio went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's William Luz got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Agua Santa's Enrique Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Quilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 88th minute, Oséas Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Apolo Quilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
