The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Roberto Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apolo Quilo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bartolo Prejun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Evelio Crispo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Jurdan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evelio Crispo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Ekain in the 65th minute. Apolo Quilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Rodas in the 73rd minute of the match.
