Hernan Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mauro Antunes's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the game, one of ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Carlinhos Vieira, was totally fooled by Sporting Club Victoria's Cayetano Goiz, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 27th minute, Marco Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Licerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Marco Dias. Mauro Antunes got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 37th minute, Marco Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Victoria's Roberto Endura got a free kick in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Marco Dias notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sporting Club Victoria's Hernan Licerio. Hernan Licerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Carlinhos Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Aurken in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Victoria's Roberto Endura got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Roberto Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Licerio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luiz Eduardo Luz. Cristian Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Licerio. Sporting Club Victoria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hernan Licerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Abraão in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Marco Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Aurken in the 78th minute of the match. Hernan Licerio was left in no man's land by his defense there!
