The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 4th minute of the match. Marcos Burni came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın. But to his dismay, Atilla Açıkalın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 12 minutes in the game Pavel Nedvěd did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Horacio Librado. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Açıkalın came free, but Marcos Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pavel Nedvěd who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, ZORZAL01's Marcos Burni got control of the ball when Atilla Açıkalın tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Crouch in the 24th minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavel Nedvěd was slow to take the kick. During this time ZORZAL01's players had a chance to rest. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 30th minute of play. If Atilla Açıkalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Açıkalın came free, but Marcos Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilla Açıkalın got free with Marcos Burni in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Crouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Atilla Açıkalın made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Burni. ZORZAL01's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 54th minute of the match. Batıkan Muhsin was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Peter Crouch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Crouch really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Horacio Librado got a free kick in the 79th minute. The throw-in from Oğuzalp Yetiş in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ZORZAL01's Natan Vercalsteren. After having played for 85 minutes, Atilla Açıkalın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilla Açıkalın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Batıkan Muhsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Crouch in the 90th minute. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Napoleon Podolski took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Burni. Marcos Burni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 95 played minutes ZORZAL01 got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Nedvěd.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ZORZAL01 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
