After a defensive mix-up in Los Gallos's zone, Raul Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jiří Kiss came out of the goal and Raul Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Marcelo Gröhe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Gorria went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Alan Gorria came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Los Gallos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Gorria couldn't finish the play. Los Gallos's attentive Yuan Le Xun managed to snatch the ball when Maurício Vianna made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Lobo Guará's Luiz Magalhães quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Armando Porro, made in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Alan Gorria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Gallos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Raul Aballe took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jiří Kiss to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Los Gallos's Yuan Le Xun got a free kick in the 34th minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Gorria, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobo Guará's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baldomiro Brais was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Gallos's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Gorria in the 41st minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Gorria came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Baldomero Cisco hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Aballe to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Gorria in the 53rd minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Gorria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. Marcelo Gröhe was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Alan Gorria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alan Gorria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Alan Gorria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Gorria in the 61st minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Gorria, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alan Gorria might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Gröhe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alan Gorria ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Gorria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Gorria came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Gorria in the 71st minute of the match. When Alan Gorria came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Los Gallos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Gorria couldn't finish the play. Lobo Guará's Jael Jardel was substituted for Raul Aballe. Los Gallos made a substitution. Honorato Benvido replaced Baldomero Cisco. Los Gallos's Jiří Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jael Jardel in the 78th minute of play. Evelio Manzanedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Vladimiro Jerold sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Gröhe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Jerold's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.

Los Gallos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
