In the 5th minute Asi Ohorella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meho Vehidović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Kuzma during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to JuSi Malacky getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ivan Kuzma hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Sanderlend's Róbert Gogoľ threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Babbis Aggeliadis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Róbert Gogoľ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Asi Ohorella made a precise shot to the right of Meho Vehidović. Sanderlend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25thth minute of the game Asi Ohorella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanderlend's Meho Vehidović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Štefan Ikra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JuSi Malacky were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Sanderlend's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukáč Baňák took the corner. After taking down the ball on JuSi Malacky's corner Lukáč Baňák fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Meho Vehidović quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vejko Mirković during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Sanderlend:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JuSi Malacky:s goal. 43 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goal looked a bit too open when Asi Ohorella came free, but Meho Vehidović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Aggeliadis was the one to do the kick off. Babbis Aggeliadis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sandy Cemalović made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Babbis Aggeliadis immediately put the ball in play. Róbert Gogoľ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 66th minute of the match. Sanderlend's Meho Vehidović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sanderlend from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, JuSi Malacky's Štefan Ikra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Róbert Gogoľ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asi Ohorella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meho Vehidović having to make a save. Marco van Basten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Róbert Gogoľ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilal Lizde during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

JuSi Malacky's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
