But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Fernández couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's Kevin Debruyne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Byström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Debruyne was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Bajenby's zone, Kevin Debruyne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Byström came out of the goal and Kevin Debruyne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, IFK Bajenby's Bengt Byström got control of the ball when Kevin Debruyne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Bengt Byström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cod Whatman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt Byström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
