The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amilcar Gomez in the 3rd minute of play forced Broom of the System DA13's goalkeeper Emanuele Fata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Broom of the System DA13's zone, Amilcar Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Fata came out of the goal and Amilcar Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stronghold S.A's Manel Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Fantauzzi in the 10th minute of play. Carlo Magliocco made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stronghold S.A's Carlos Fernendo. Amilcar Gomez struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Emanuele Fata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stronghold S.A. Ferdinando Walcher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Manel Villa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Stronghold S.A's Gerben Deitmers got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Stronghold S.A's Remigio Urdaspal in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amilcar Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuele Fata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amilcar Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's Amilcar Gomez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuele Fata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Broom of the System DA13's goal looked a bit too open when Amilcar Gomez came free, but Emanuele Fata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amilcar Gomez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Fata was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amilcar Gomez in the 45th minute of play forced Broom of the System DA13's goalkeeper Emanuele Fata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eraldo Fantauzzi was the one to do the kick off. Manel Villa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eraldo Fantauzzi's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Gerben Deitmers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Manel Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Walcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Amilcar Gomez could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amilcar Gomez in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Fata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68th play minutes Eliseo Herena shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Emanuele Fata and just under the crossbar into goal. Emanuele Fata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amilcar Gomez in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Broom of the System DA13 defense, Amilcar Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuele Fata. The Broom of the System DA13 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuele Fata should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Broom of the System DA13 booed when Stronghold S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd play minute Amilcar Gomez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuele Fata. 0-6. If Amilcar Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amilcar Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuele Fata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amilcar Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. The nice shot from Amilcar Gomez in the 90thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Emanuele Fata had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Stronghold S.A's Eliseo Herena got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Broom of the System DA13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Como to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Amilcar Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stronghold S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Amilcar Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Fata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Herena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Fata came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Herena slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 94th minute.
