Edvaldo Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolás Blandi went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nicolás Blandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Blandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Illan in the 26th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Proenças short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Evaristo Roldan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cuervos AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilmar de Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time SAS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SAS's corner Nilmar de Queiroz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evaristo Roldan quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Maximino Illan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcelo Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hélder Nóbrega hit a great ball. If Marcelo Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuervos AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
