A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lars Ek hit a great ball. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ravenna, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Elpidio Amor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tonico Tinoco went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Ilie Hurmuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Ilie Hurmuz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timo! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 26th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Telmo Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timo! and the Inter Miami CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Timo!:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Timo!:s Elpidio Amor showed great skill when he stopped Joe Pancken:s penalty. In the 27th minute, Joe Pancken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Timo!'s Elpidio Amor got control of the ball when Eriberto Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Karbowski in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Inter Miami CF got a corner. Timo!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joe Pancken ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Inter Miami CF's Joe Pancken to fire away a dangerous shot which Elpidio Amor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Hurmuz came free, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inter Miami CF's Tonico Tinoco in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timo!'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute, Evandro Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 40th minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto. But to his dismay, Franco Benvenuto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Franco Benvenuto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tonico Tinoco made a kick off. Ilie Hurmuz scored 2-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Riquelme in the 55th minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonico Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Román Riquelme in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Timo!'s Ilie Hurmuz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Inter Miami CF made a substitution. Erasmo Lekubegi replaced Placido Mergildo. Elpidio Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Fridman in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah got control of the ball when Arquímedes Cesario tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Tonico Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tonico Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Karbowski in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Román Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Timo! players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
