The audience thought a goal was coming when Román Riquelme got free with Vinícius Novaes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinícius Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bebela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joe Pancken was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter Miami CF's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonico Tinoco in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinícius Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute of the match Inter Miami CF got a corner. Bebela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joe Pancken ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Chago in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Bebela's Vinícius Novaes got control of the ball when Tonico Tinoco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Breno de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bebela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Miami CF the free kick. A collision led to Bebela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Breno de Salles hit a great ball. After 45 minutes Bebela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Pancken who took care of the corner kick. The Inter Miami CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bebela were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tonico Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. Vinícius Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vinícius Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco in the 89th minute of play. Tonico Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Vinícius Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami CF. Javier Fridman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius Novaes having to make a save. 96 minutes into the game, Tonico Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vinícius Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bebela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Inter Miami CF.
