Elpidio Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Vilaça in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Rebocho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arquímedes Cesario got free with Bernardo Leiria in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Valério Vilaça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 13th minute of play. Bernardo Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Hurmuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Bernardo Leiria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Ilie Hurmuz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Leiria. Ilie Hurmuz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Arquímedes Cesario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Leiria made a huge save. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Franco Benvenuto sped through SLB TELHA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Leiria. 29 minutes into the match, Franco Benvenuto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Leiria, 3-1. In the 35th minute, Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Leiria. Bernardo Leiria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 37th minute Ilie Hurmuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Ribas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Valério Vilaça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Vilaça to make the kick off. SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 57th minute of play. Bernardo Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Karbowski in the 63rd minute of play. Timo! made a substitution. Alexandr Lunin replaced Franco Benvenuto. Timo!'s Ricardo Jerardo was substituted for Emilio Ravenna. João Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 73rd minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Bernardo Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
