If Radomir Gerlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinton Isern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Llope Ojeda charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llope Ojeda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llope Ojeda to maneuver through the defense. When Radomir Gerlach came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nytäppet Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Gerlach couldn't finish the play. Sture Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sanson Villasinda in the 59th minute. Sture Abrahamsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sanson Villasinda kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Peñarol FIFV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
