Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Miranda in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Horado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Miami CF's Rigoberto Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 36th minute of play. Tonico Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pontus Nordström was a little too slow when Eriberto Miranda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Lordi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pontus Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Miami CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
