Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aílton Magalhães in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Remo Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Barrenta SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo Falcão couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Remo Falcão could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Denílson Fernandes however easily saved by the left post. Irreal Madrid's Denílson Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Branco in the 9th minute of play. Remo Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Denílson Fernandes made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Barrenta SC's Fellipe de Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denílson Fernandes. Denílson Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Remo Falcão notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Irreal Madrid's Denílson Fernandes. Denílson Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrenta SC's Remo Falcão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denílson Fernandes. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Aílton Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Félix having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Aílton Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irreal Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 38 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Linhares. Gilvan Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aílton Magalhães made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe de Lima. After 55 minutes, Tiaguinho Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irreal Madrid and the Barrenta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fellipe de Lima hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Anísio Galvão put in a rough tackle. In the 59th minute, one of Barrenta SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barrenta SC. The referee gave Irreal Madrid a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dráusio Domingues, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barrenta SC's Allan Félix. 4-2. In the 66th minute, Irreal Madrid's Fred Amorim seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fred Amorim the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Irreal Madrid protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fred Amorim had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Irreal Madrid fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Denílson Fernandes had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Fellipe de Lima's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Remo Falcão took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Fernandes. Denílson Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Remo Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrenta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remo Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denílson Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe de Lima in the 87th minute of the match. Remo Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remo Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Branco in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Félix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aílton Magalhães went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score.
