Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC TOKIO's Daniel Bey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pete Kitching in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tedj Djeziri saved FC TOKIO from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, FK BLAZER's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bey came free, but Shawn Plummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Shawn Plummer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute Hamid Brahimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Plummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amine Larfaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK BLAZER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Hamid Brahimi scored to the left of an out of position Shawn Plummer, making the score, 1-0. After 18 played minutes FC TOKIO got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Brahimi. Shawn Plummer made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hocine Mekhloufi sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Pete Kitching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedj Djeziri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tedj Djeziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Butterfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FK BLAZER's zone, Daniel Bey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Plummer came out of the goal and Daniel Bey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tedj Djeziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Kitching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Pete Kitching made a precise shot to the right of Tedj Djeziri. FC TOKIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 44 minutes, Tim Byfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK BLAZER and the FC TOKIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FK BLAZER's Tim Byfield got a free kick in the 45th minute. Shawn Plummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soltani Belkacem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Kitching in the 47th minute of play forced FC TOKIO's goalkeeper Tedj Djeziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pete Kitching to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hamid Brahimi made a precise shot to the right of Shawn Plummer. FK BLAZER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Shawn Plummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amine Larfaoui in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olly Butterfield got free with Tedj Djeziri in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shawn Plummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amine Larfaoui went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Philip Llewellyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Djeziri having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Bey in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Plummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pete Kitching struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Tedj Djeziri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK BLAZER. In the 80th minute of the match Soltani Belkacem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shawn Plummer skillfully saved the ball. Hamid Brahimi took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shawn Plummer. Shawn Plummer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Pete Kitching charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pete Kitching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, FK BLAZER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Kitching to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th play minute Philip Llewellyn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tedj Djeziri. 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Brahimi in the 93rd minute of play forced FK BLAZER's goalkeeper Shawn Plummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that FC TOKIO were the better team. FC TOKIO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
