The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dantel Vadillos in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cyryl Liberko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of INTOCABLES 2oo4 booed when Skarpa Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Wojtkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Dantel Vadillos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cyryl Liberko. Skarpa Ełk's Cyryl Liberko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evarado Ucero in the 14th minute of play. When INTOCABLES 2oo4's Evarado Ucero in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 18th minute Mieszko Mazierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montxo Vallejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyryl Liberko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evarado Ucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyryl Liberko came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by INTOCABLES 2oo4's Miguel Ángel Mista. But to his dismay, Miguel Ángel Mista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Waselewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Montxo Vallejo. That made the score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Skay Škarpa took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Montxo Vallejo to make any attempt to save it. Cyryl Liberko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dantel Vadillos's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Dantel Vadillos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyryl Liberko. Skarpa Ełk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dantel Vadillos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Skarpa Ełk's Wladyslaw Borczak got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skarpa Ełk's Cyryl Liberko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dantel Vadillos in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dantel Vadillos was the one to do the kick off. Montxo Vallejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Waselewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute Skay Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montxo Vallejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Evarado Ucero came free, but Cyryl Liberko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evarado Ucero charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evarado Ucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mieszko Mazierski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Skarpa Ełk lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
