The Ghost Hunters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Arne Biörnberg should have stopped the shot. After 8 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Victor Wenerdahl. In the 9th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Överman to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Dietrich Bucheli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Arne Biörnberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stig-Arne Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Helge Ståhlman's late challenge caught a FC Lugano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ghost Hunters's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Hedbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godo Gøl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Haller during the 71st minute. Fedor Adler came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stig-Arne Biörnberg could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Kjell Eliasson got a free kick in the 87th minute. Stig-Arne Biörnberg made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Odysseus De Souza sent off a good shot on target. Odysseus De Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedor Adler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Stig-Arne Biörnberg made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Odysseus De Souza got free with Stig-Arne Biörnberg in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
