After a rather tough play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Avram Stegaru got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Frerk Hentschel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yi Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricart Mendiguren in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xu Yi Lei saved City Friseur Wuppertal from getting behind. Xu Yi Lei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Igrejas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Albi Martínez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulli Hartwig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Frerk Hentschel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Hjeltman in the 18th minute of play. Xu Yi Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Hjeltman in the 20th minute of play. Ulli Hartwig was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Waldemar Ryback capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waldemar Ryback really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 26th minute Albi Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulli Hartwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Tuncer İribaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the City Friseur Wuppertal and the Buffalo Bills players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tuncer İribaş kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a left leg Ulli Hartwig saved Buffalo Bills from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Frerk Hentschel came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Buffalo Bills's Wolf Snow was substituted for Love Canada. Xu Yi Lei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricart Mendiguren in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goal looked a bit too open when Albi Martínez came free, but Ulli Hartwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xu Yi Lei made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Frerk Hentschel sent off a good shot on target. Xu Yi Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricart Mendiguren in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albi Martínez in the 67th minute of play forced Buffalo Bills's goalkeeper Ulli Hartwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Nebi Tokyürek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulli Hartwig was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Buffalo Bills's Adalbert Jantzen was substituted for Moisés Igrejas. Buffalo Bills made a substitution. Wyatt Snow replaced Frerk Hentschel. 78 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Jantzen came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Buffalo Bills booed when City Friseur Wuppertal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarkan Ushan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Alfred Wieczorek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buffalo Bills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Wieczorek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
