Damian Kasprzak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Gabor having to make a save. In the 32nd minute ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 were awarded a corner. Eugen Mihălțan went to the cornerflag to take it. Emil Gabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Kasprzak in the 34th minute of play. Kurt Björkdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 41st minute of the match. Lucrețiu Ghimiș charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A collision led to Shadows United getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edinson Cavani hit a great ball. Kurt Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 72nd minute of play. Emil Gabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Clodio in the 73rd minute of play. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lisandro Martínez was substituted for Adrián Frick. Shadows United's Gwidon Pierz was substituted for Zdzislaw Kazanowski. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Edinson Cavani with Olaf Wisniewski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 78th minute Erasmo Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Gabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
